Social Madness: Meet your Atlanta winners

The final local bracket round of Atlanta Business Chronicle’s Social Madness competition closed July 16 and three local companies in each size category have been crowned winners.

Atlanta, meet your champions:

• Small company (1-99 employees) winner: Beach.com (12,263 votes)

• Large company (500+ employees) winner: Apartment Guide (6,507 votes)

But the competition isn’t over just yet. Each of the three winners will move forward to compete against companies of similar size from around the country. In addition to the winners, 21 companies with highest points in each bracket size, that did not win their market will also move to the national phase.

The national round will begin July 24 and run for seven weeks to September 10. Here’s a break down of the competition schedule:

• Round 1 – July 24-30 – bracket of 64
• Round 2 – July 31-Aug.6 – bracket of 32
• Round 3 – Aug.7-13 – bracket of 16
• Round 4 – Aug. 14-20– bracket of 8
• Round 5 – Aug.21-27 – bracket of 4
• Final Round – Aug. 28-Sept.10 – 2 companies
• National winners will be announced Sept. 11

Just like the local competition, the companies will compete in size categories of small, medium and large companies and will go head-to-head against each other.
