Romancing the Merchandise

Hello Fellow FE ( Floral Entrepreneurs),

This is a short video sharing on how to interact with customers.  Remember the customer experience is important in three ways.  


  1. The Invitation/ Welcome Customers - Getting the customers into your business is at least 80%  of the work toward any transaction.  Marketing, promotion and branding take front seat during the initiation of a good customer/business relationship .  If these don't happen customer service and selling will not and can not take place. Get them in the door and make them feel welcome.
  2. Good Customer Experience - Customers share their experiences with family, friends, co - workers and associates etc.  Even if they don't purchase on that visit  their more apt to return if they have a great experience. 
  3. The selling of merchandise - You are in the business to sell.  Don't harass  the customer ... but at some point you really need to make a sale. Don't take disparaging view on small purchases. View them as the beginning of a long and profitable relationship between your customer and your business.
